>>34741806Grass being past is easy. It represents the primordial aspect of Nature as that which has been here long before mankind. They can go for either some extinct animal or a long living one and add some forest element to it. Ground or Rock as a secondary Type are obvious choices. Funny that Torterra meets that description pretty damn well. Fairy may be an option if they go for a more mythical side and stablish a fantasy vs sci-fi theme as well.
Water can go for the fluidity of the present, evoking ever changing possibilites. That's the one that's harder to foresse what it could be. Some animal, for sure which one is impossible to say for now. Same goes for secondary Type. You can range from normal to fighting to electric and all can work. "Present" is just very open-ended as a concept, really.
Fire has always been a representation of human culture and the conquest of knowledge and technology. It was the discovery of Fire that allowed mankind to conquer Nature and become rulers of the world. They can go for a Promethean theme with it and possibly include a secondary Type of Steel or Electric, those being the other two Types that represent human scientific conquests. It might possibly be a bird to represent science carrying mankind ever higher. Would be more interesting than the obvious sci-fi robot or alien at least.
