Current play through and team?
Pic related is what I want my final team for UM to be but I don't know who else to include in the 6th spot.
I want another dual type that doesn't share the same typing as the others
Fire/Dark
Grass/Ghost
Water/Fairy
Dragon/Fighting
Electric/Psychic

I've been playing my HG and plat games on and off for a long time now. Currently training some mons from HG on my plat cart in stark mountain, I haven't cleared out team galactic from here yet so I'm going around with buck grinding out some levels for these mons. The team is:

Octillery
Relicanth
Poliwrath
Farfetch'd
Gallade
Linoone

I have my plat team on my hg cartridge to level them up some more in the near future as well.

and I have plenty of small projects to get done, more pokemons to catch, level up, maybe even breed a few for some egg moves.

HG is my main game as I love the pokemon following feature and I'll be transferring most mons over there eventually.

I'm gonna have a pretty neat selection of mons to adventure with soon enough.

I have gallade on my team right now as I want to level him up to around 65 - I've trained him up to be really useful for catching legendaries that will run from battle. He has the moves:

mean look
hypnosis
double team
false swipe

I also have a parasect (love this mon) which I have used to help me catch other mons and I've had parasect on my team in HG since I caught a paras in the forest. It knows spore and false swipe, really useful just in case I came across any shinies, which I haven't so far, but just in case.

Well, obviously I found the red gyarados, but no other shinies yet. Red gyarados is my highest levelled mon in HG though, lvl 90 right now.

afaik ppl don't like it due to the base speed of 30. It does have that strength sap move which can heal it a shitload against mons with high attack. I personally haven't used it though but I do think it seems like a neat mon.

I personally don't care for your team set, but I've always had a bias attitude about using one starter with my team versus them all.
Not to mention, the basic starter abilities are easily outshined by most other alternatives.

Gliscor would be a good choice.
You've got two ground weakness and only Decideueye resists it. (who is also physically frail)
If you're lucky and get Immunity/Poison heal you also have a status sponge.

I haven't played or kept up with pokemon games since gen 3 and wanna get a 2ds since it's pretty cheap and play some. In my shithole of a country only oras, xy, regular sm and usum are available to buy. Which of these is most fun to play through, just casual on and off playing no competitive stuff, and hows the postgame content? Ty

x&y is comfiest. oras is great for nostalgia and imo the best of the 3ds era however i think i'm in a minority for thinking that. sm/usum have some neat new features and some really good new mons but the lack of gyms means it doesn't feel like a traditional pokemon game.

if i were you i'd personally go for oras, it reignited my love for the series and hopefully it will for you aswell, anon

Team consists of:
Golisopod,
Arbok,
Metagross,
Zoroark,
Mawile,
Nebby

I like to use primarily the darker types, such as Dark, Steel, Poison and Bug. Also, Scope Lens/Night Slash Zoroark is pretty overpowered. Ultra Necrozma was pretty easy for me when I got a physical tank Golisopod tanking the first hit then switching to Zoroark to abuse AI and finish it third turn with a crit Night Slash. Currently busy taking on the Elite Four.

i just got into competitive play for usum. really like archanine klefki and honchcrow for support. sweep with sylveon pixelate hypervoice for doubles or hawlucha or charizard y. i love my muk he needs to be in there somewhere. uhh rotom w. chyeah

Neat team, I think shiftry, dustox, aggron, and vibrava all have super neat designs. Sealeo is quite cool too. I think I'd keep vibrava and not evolve into flygon, just coz I like it's look so much. All in all nice team anon and I hope ur adventures are goin swell.
