why does curse work differently for non-ghosts?
is there ever a line of dialog that gives some lore explanation or is it something that just happens for no real reason
also dumb questions thread

There is no lore explanation, only Japanese wordplay.

As a kid, I always thought it was some kind of logical exception.
Like, a normal type pokemon can't give someone a curse, so it has to do something different.

But I never considered why a non-ghost type could learn it in the first place.

Maybe because a ghost isn’t cursed until it becomes cursed, so a cursed ghost is suddenly a cursed ghost and is then bad in the ghost community, so he is then like Bill Cosby or OJ Simpson.
