I'd prefer new regional forms.
Also hoping they ditch megas and Z-moves because they're not really fun.
Really don't want them to go down the yugioh path and introduce some new gimmicky mechanic with each new addition.

Megas, probably not.

New regional variants, yes. Alolan Vulpix has proven very popular and the original Vulpix became popular again too (not as much as the Alolan version but still), so I'm sure they'll attempt to bring another Pokemon back to the spotlight in a similar way.

Sorry anon. Gamefreak feels that each generation/region needs to feel like a fresh experience so we're not getting anymore regional forms beyond the kanto forms.
