I know Zeraora hasnt been revealed, but it isnt out of left field to think Gen 8 will be out this year or January next year

It'll be out for black friday, for the sales boost and holiday run-in, thinking anything else (particularly as Switch was THE best selling item on BF 2017 and it wasn't even on reduction mostly.) is naive.

>January next year You're an idiot if you think they're gonna miss the Holiday season by a month. Patternfag

There were fags rampant with patterns of TCG and anime to try and prove Z was going to be a thing, and look how that turned out. Hell even before that, fucking Gray.

>needing to resort to patternfaggotry to justify something that's like 90% confirmed at this point Don't stoop to the denialfags' level OP, you're better than that. Let them delude themselves for just a little longer, by this time next month gen 8 will be announced and they'll have to beg their mommies to buy them a Switch or finally get a fucking job and stop shitting up the board with their idiocy.

>>34758430 But what if I already own a Switch??? Stop projecting poorfag. Gen 8 will be see a summer 2019 release and it will only be marginally better than either XY or SM despite the additional development time. Screencap this if you want.

Especially now that it's a worldwide release and the last time they did was for Japan. If you're so hellbent on 2019, November or October would have made more sense to say.

>>34757989 >Looking for trends and patterns is literally one of the most intuitive, common sense things to do. Maybe when it comes to economics or crime rates or something, but not when it comes to creativity. Looking at “trends” of Pokemon games implies the same thing will happen again because that’s how it was before.
But that’s just wrong and has been proven wrong over and over (eg every game has 8 gyms, Eeveelutions are always introduced in pairs). The factors that inform decisions change constantly, and we don’t know all those factors. The Gen 8 release date is not informed by previous release dates, it’s informed by whether GF can put out an acceptable game by that date.
