I am new to GS Ball. All I know is GS Ball have a yellow color and can obtain in Crystal. I think it can catch Serebii. I know about it a little by some video on youtube

It's an item that activates the Celebi event, like the tickets in Gen 3 or the Inn Pass in DP

The only truly unique thing you're getting out of Crystal is the chance for a shiny Celebi

It’s just an item to lure Celebi into battle and that’s it. You can’t use it to catch anything.

OP, the GS ball can be used to catch Pokemon. Celebi is a seperate event. GS ball looks really cool in the modern games and you can clone the item in Crystal using a glitch so you can have lots of them.

beat the E4 again, should trigger it

I played on the custom cia with the patches SciresM found months ago, had no problems getting the event after I injected the save into the real vc

the event actually worked on the custom cia the same way too, I rolled back my save for the real vc because my finished save had the gs ball, wanted to make sure it was legit
