Comp players were rightfully annoyed when they had to get ORAS to stay competitive despite being of the same gen as XY thanks to it having move tutors that XY didn't have for some bizarre reason and introducing even more megas for even more bizarre reasons.
But at least ORAS are full remakes of a now pretty old gen of games.
Emerald/Platinum is $40 for Tower clone BP farming and move tutors, also here's a shitty new legendary form.
Which means it's a 40$ paywall to stay in the comp scene.... because
