It destroys Team Skull's poison types thanks to Psychic, and it's good against Kahili thanks to Ice Beam.
It's also the only one that can hit ALL kahunas for Super Effective damage, STAB most of the time. Popplio has Disarming Voice for Raticate too. It's probably the best in-game overall. It's definitely not hard mode.
