>>34778021>All the new mechanics are unnecessary and you're a babby for disagreeing with meI had Red and Yellow thank you very much though I was only 7 when I got Red. The franchise was my first love but i'd still rather play anything after Gen 4 for the physical/special split; a ton Pokémon don't even have a viable Stab move prior to Gen 4. It's a vast improvement.
Most of the changes you've deemed pointless added variety and choices (something gen 1 had almost none of). They stop each member of the species being identical to every other member because that's not fun for players. They had identical movesets because the pools were heinously shallow and there was only ever one way to run anything.
>These Pokemon are in the newer games regardless you retard. You don't need a remake for this.Yeah finding them via GTS or included in regional Dex of another region is the same thing as remaking kanto or johto.
Note that I said Pokémon AND games because that's what I fucking meant you dolt. Being given a choice of Kanto starters in X/Y hardly has the same impact as getting to play through the original region. Remember how you felt going into Lavender tower for the first time? The Gen 1 games are remembered so fondly because when we were young, they were fantastic.
I guarantee you if you offered a child the choice between a Gameboy with Red and a 3DS with Ultra Sun they would choose the 3DS every time. There are probably kids who would bawk at the idea of needing a physical link cable in this day and age.
GF will never get new fans interested in playing R/B/Y in their original states. However, If they repackage and update them they can achieve the same results with new players ( again, without having to design a whole new region and ded full of Pokémon).
Glad you don't work at GF though as the series would have died after G/S/C
