Cosmic could easily be it's own thing, though.
Make it SE against dark, possibly immune to fairy, weak against steel, and so on. Pokemon like Solgaleo and Lunala (who are clearly not fitting for the psychic role design-wise) deserve a bit more love.

How?
Explain your thought process here, what do all the types share that this wouldn't?
It could be worked around mythology, space travel, ect.
It would work a lot better than making pokemon like Minior flying, or pokemon like Dialga/Palkia steel and water.
