Because I have the odd egg and am at the daycare now, fuck it, didn't start silver as I wanted a shiny cynda to use, I COULD wait, but it'd be harder then to level the fucker up (less trainers/more wild grinding needed) as opposed to replacing a lv 15 Quilava now too.

Shiny Pokemon will lose a ton of points in Gen 2 because 3 of their IVs are even numbers instead of odd because of how shinies work. Not surprising it didn't win.
