You're correct in that it's way less toxic than those. It's not completely harmless in that it comes down to who's on at the time/the type of people you end up interacting with. Some are nice, some are cancer, some make the experience more entertaining, some just talk about themselves, etc.

I've been actively exposing most of the Globals in Showdown/Showderp/Smogon as paedophiles. I've had major success and soon I should have the site nearly 70% under my control and Showdown probably shut down by 2019. I'm shooting for Q4 of 2018 but it all depends on when the Lawsuit I filed against them goes to Supreme Court.

I've already caused many of their Globals to be on an indefinite suspension, shouldn't be much longer until Showdown is a thing of the past.
