I know that 80% of /vp/ knows this, but for those that haven't played the game or have gamefreak's cock too far down their throat to say the truth:
These are bad games. This is not a meme, these are bad games.
The reason these are bad games is because:
1. 90% of the game is the same as SM (one event even had a graphic glitch that flashed lillie, proving that it was a copy-paste event)
2. The SM story was made somehow worse by forcing in Necrozma
3. The only new content was a mini-game and a couple of new pokemon
Those are just three main reasons, there are a billion other nitpicks, but these are the main ones.
Now, granted, if you didn't play SM, then these games would be better since you haven't played the originals before.

In conclusion: the games are bad if you played SM, but if you didn't, they might be worth a play.
