I think it needs a remake because I want to see newer pokemon and types in the region while enjoying its story, and the modern conveniences newer games have brought. Really I think that remaking the original pair of games (Gold and silver, ruby and sapphire, diamond and pearl) is retarded and only done for the $$$. Remakes of Crystal, Emerald, and Platinum would be way better.

I tried this once and it was the single worst experience I've had playing Pokemon.
