Not everyone from that side fit that mold. I'm sure there are some out there that still hate it, but especially the younger generation.

Yes I understand that people can simply dig under, or go around it, but if people continue to break laws, and take advantage of immigration policy; something needs to be done. The wall is merely a deterrent, as border security can only do so much.

>disasterous ecologicallyI agree with you on this one actually. But it's the conundrum of having a good manufacturing economy. Too many regulations, and people will definitely go elsewhere. Deng Xiaopeng's economic reforms in the last century did wonders for China, and are doing very well. I wouldn't want to work there of course with how awful the regulations there are.
