Pokemon is about journeying into your imagination and exploring a new world with YOUR pokemon companions... everyone riding around in the same stupid fucking tauros totally ruins that feeling that got me hooked on pokemon.
If they had to get rid of HMs to please you spoiled babies then they should've tied them to typing and made it so that if you wanted to use fly you had to have a flying type pokemon, if you wanted to surf you had to have a water type, at least then it still would've been your own team and not a stupid ass stoutland sniffing around for turds.
