What would you say makes a good Legendary, from all aspects? This includes, design, lore, presentation, mechanics, stats, abilities, moves, the whole shebang.

Appearance and lore-wise, I prefer them to not be constantly in your face like the box legends. Side quest or postgame is the way to go if you ask me.
With mechanics, I prefer it to have a balanced stat distribution with some signature ability, item, or attack to make it stand out.

Most of the time GF just goes the route of godlike being with high speed and high attack, and that's just lazy.

I think Arceus and Mewtwo were some of the best legendaries, because there are bits and pieces of their lore throughout the game (like Arceus with the plates, and Mewtwo with reports in Silph Co. and Pokemon Mansion) but Mewtwo was presented better because it was hidden away and you have to go out of your way to find it. Arceus being reduced to an event was unfortunate.

On that note, event only mons are terrible. So that's my opinion about in game presentation and lore, at least.
