That's what I would have said yesterday, but seeing as they have started marketing Gen 4 mons today with the Legends of D/P "leading 2018" and the TCG lists containing all thes gen 4 mons I'm not so sure anymore.

Probably a spinoff. Too soon after USUM for new gen I think?

I'm hoping for a massive load of minigames or something. The Stadium minigames were really fun, and switch definitely brings that party aspect with it. Limited to two controllers though(?)

The only thing that has been confirmed about the Swtich game is that it's mainline, not a spinoff. Which doesn't mean we can't get another spinoff this year, but a mainline game is being worked on by GF.

There isn't a single region that got both GS in 2000 and HGSS in 2009 and Europe is the only region that got GS in 2001. Japanese release is all that matters anyway.

The main thing Sinnohfetuses have to go on is that this month is the distribution for Dialga and Palkia, while we might also get a Switch announcement soon due to based Jaredposter. But said distribution ties into the TCG sets this year, and those usually don't have much to do with anything (Shiny Silvally, Shiny Tapu Koko, shiny Sinnoh legendaries around XY's release, shiny Zygarde in June this year...)

Oh fuck off we're gonna get stuff about every Legendary throughout the year you dolt. Did you miss the "2018 is the year of legendaries!!!" thing? And the TCG means nothing since they're just going through several different regions anyways, Kalos is the focus after Sinnoh. Does that mean we're getting DP remakes, then XY remakes, THEN Gen 8?

The next set is Kalos-themed. It looks like this year's theme is just going to be focus on generations that haven't been relevant lately. Expect a Unova or Johto set next.

They're doing a tcg set for every past gen with special trainer cards for the rainbow rocket bosses.

Also I've noticed they're going with more Anime themed content in the TCG such as a Bonnie card in the next set which is kalos themed
