>>34816785>Would Gardevoir read my mind without my permission? That would be rude.Probably not. I try to imagine what would happen if an animal gained psychic powers in real life, and I see two routes. Route one, their insummountable power and analytical mind causes them to turn into a species of ruthless psychopaths, telekinetically breaking the neck of every animal they come across, and wiping out most life on the planet in the name of total conquest and sheer dominion.
Route two, the species goes the other route and becomes EXTREMELY empathetic. Basically, if creatures with that kind of power were NOT highly compassionate, they'd all kill themselves. With those kind of OP abilities, it only takes ONE determined psycho to kill swaths upon swaths of people. They MUST evolve to be compassionate and heartfelt, otherwise they'd quickly go extinct.
Gardey is obviously more the second type, and by extension of their clement nature I'm sure they'd end up widely having good manners, so no reak mind invasion unless they feel threatened and like they need to do it.
