Depends. Really anywhere in johto. Like, I know that it's a big town, that's not very naturery etc, but Goldenrod city is so up there for me. Can you imagine like walking through the town at sunset along the road next to the magnet train. And then coming out by the sea just as the moon begins to rise. And the sea breeze, clean concrete, staryu gently glowing in the distance. Street lights offering warm hue, where even the dark alleys seem cosey and inviting. Very late 90s, early 2000s Japan. Simplicity. People just going about there business. I wish someone would draw something like that. More goldenrod please. I beg you.

See, I do like the town, but it also feels a bit forced. Like it's trying to be comfey and the whole tree gym dolls house thing is just too many layers, so it comes off as tacky. I feel like a lot of new towns are like that in some degree. They have a lot of detail packed in, but that just limits the players own imagination, and therefore stops them, to a certain level, being that comfey.
