Joe's twitter feed is the owrst things I read all day. He constantly complains about "people who even mildly criticize GF or Nintendo for anything. Sure, the detractors can be annoying sometimes, but not as bad as some asshat brit saying "YOU DON'T DESERVE TO QUESTION THEM" as if he's the litmus on community feedback, which is laughable.

Distributions are a fucking mess. I don’t expect to get the same distributions as Japan but we just get a random small amount of them. If Japan can have their own events so should we. It’s only due to incompetenetence or conspiracy that we don’t.

I'd be very interested to hear Joe's rationalization for the west not getting the shiny Genesect and Arceus events on the basis of context when the movies those events were promoting were released worldwide.

We didn't get the movie in theaters. The Genesect event was given to those that preordered tickets for the movie, it wasn't for everyone.
And come on, you know people would be screeching their lungs out if the west started getting events that you had to go watch Pokemon movies in the theater for too.

Shiny Legends are nothing. The only thing we get out of all this is zygarde. The last good event was the mythical giveaway, but japans gets at least 3 per year.
The last time events as a whole were quality in the US was HG/SS.
