Not them, but USUM was garbage, PSMD was better than ALL other Pokemon titles released for the 3DS.

PSMD at least was a lot better than Gates to Infinity and the WiiShop titles. Both if those had the same kind of too easy too simple for kids problem and felt rushed.

Can anyone tell me why a lot of people think Explorers was the best of the series? I actually prefer Rescue Team. Is it solely for the story? I felt the plot twist about Dusknoir being evil was dumb.

That, improved mechanics and menus, seemingly having more content and Pokémon such as Pidgey requiring a lot less autism to recruit.
Rescue Team is still very underrated though, compared to Explorers of Sky.

Not really. I think most people who like the genre realize they're great games, but EoT/D/S are awesome games.

Putting them in their rightful place isn't underrating them.
