Is there a r/b/y rom hack that gives you unlimited bag space? Only having 20 items is kind of a glaring flaw that ruins the game

There's ways to manage your items to fit your bag. For example, using full heals once you get access to them over having a heal item for each status ailment is one thing.

Because they also took away the PC and they keep reducing the amount of categories in the bag. Many of us are autistic as fuck and refuse to actually use items and also refuse to get rid of them. Limiting bag space forces you to actually manage your items and prioritize the shit you want to keep.

Also there's absolutely no reason that stuff like Mega Stones shouldn't have their own pouch. We need more "free space" slots than just the one.

That's literally why they added the Free Space tab. It's functionally identical to the PC, except you still have access to it.

Honestly, I think having three or more "custom" pockets would be a fantastic idea. I already store items used for breeding in my current free space, but it would be nice to have one for stuff like Repels and Escape Ropes or just to store vendor trash so I don't have to search for it.

IMO, balls can stay at the bottom of the general Items pocket, since you only ever use them in battles, where they already have their own menu.

20 in the bag, 50 in the PC. Once you account for the Key Items which you can't sell or toss, you basically can't even collect all the TM's in the game. Thank goodness held items didn't exist yet.

I feel like this is only ever a problem in dungeons and moreso an issue in Gen 2 where you can get berries and apricorns daily which take up their own slot each. Since berries are free AND useful naturally picking them up is something you want to do which makes bag space limited in G/S/C and you feel it a lot more than in gen 1 where you just deposit everything you never use in the PC and there's less to actually use

I collected (and duped) every TM in the VC release. I didn't get EXP Share, but I got every other key item. All of the TMs fit in the PC and my inventory had room for like one type of pokeball and a couple healing items. It's a pain, but it's possible.
