Do you ever like, not evolve your mons just cause you feel more connected to that particular mon and just like it's appearance better than the evolution?
Or do i just sound like an autist right now?

I usually let them evolve, but since I chose Moon as my main game this time, Rockruff was staying as it was. I purposely swapped it out of my team during the "night".

I don't mind Midnight's design in general, but if Ladie is to ever evolve, it will be into the far superior Midday. At this point I probably won't ever bother evolving it though.

I do feel rather connected to it as is now.

Murkrow was my favorite Mon until Gen VI, I always use one and never evolve it

Honchkrow also doesn't get Prankster, so Murkrow can utilize sets that it's evo can't.

It's very autistic to not evolve your pokemon unless there's a good reason not to do so like the preevo being better with eviolite or having an ability that will get lost when evolved and it's better unevolved.
that being said, i think most of us have had that autistic playthrough were we don't evolve a pokemon, mine was when i played BW, i had dewott that i wouldn't evolve because i didn't liked Samurott's design, and boy did that made the game so much harder for me, when i played BW2 i let it evolve tho, and now i kinda like the design.
