No smogonfag is going to deride other folks for using shit-tier legendaries, because they've chosen their team based entirely around smogon ranks, and as a result, they know half of all legendaries are shitmons. No one's worried about, say, Mesprit or Regirock or Meloetta or some shit, so no one complains about their usage.
Exactly the opposite is true: there's way more shit thrown at people for using bog-standard OUmons like Toxapex, Landorus (yeah, a legendary, but it's shit on because it's heavily used, not because it's legendary), Ash Greninja, etc.
