This was the peak. It doesn't matter how many more Pokémon games they release in the coming years,this was the pinnacle of the series. It will never ever be topped.

The only way they'll top this is if they do another Japan-inspired region but don't actually base it on anywhere found in real life. Just somewhere with a strong emphasis on nature that only exists in the Pokemon world. Earth-based regions have become a gimmick since they started looking outside of Japan.

I completely agree. HGSS is and always will be the pinnacle of Pokemon. I will also add Emerald and BW2, as I think they are part of the pinaccle as well.

Those 3 games are enough if you are a Pokemon fan. You don't need any other games. Those 3 have all you need. I love them.

Also a heads up for Crystal. It was the HGSS of its time.
