Gen 8 will be based in the Alba region which is based on England, Wales and the Isle of Mann (Scotland is just a small safari zone past a wall). The theme is industrialization vs nature.

Cities are named after Arthurian legends eg London is Lancelot City. HMs are still gone but gyms are back. Gimmick Pokemon of the generation is prehistoric forms of Gen 1 and Gen 2 pokemons which can be revived from fossils found in a big underground cave near Pendragon (Cardiff).

The Isle of Man is revealed to be the origin of all of humanity. The box legendaries are Ydraigg (pic related) which is Dragon/Fire and a Pokemon based on St George which is Fairy/Steel.
