you literally don't even need items. i swept the e4 with a level 46 typhlosion. here's a hint, teach it thunderpunch, and sweep will, everything else is cheese from there, level suicune a bit and spam icy wind/aurora beam. i used pidgeot and suicune surf for some of bruno's mons but yeah 3 pokemon is easy as long as you cover types (if you don't like using legendaries then replace suicune with lapras or any other water/ice type)
