I dunno if anyone else feels this way, but... isn't it WILD that there are MANMADE Pokemon, and that humans have been making Pokemon for hundreds of years? Like, huh? That's the equivalent of us creating entirely new types of animals! How does that even work? What's the ethics behind that? Should humans even be messing with that stuff?

Another issue is how old Fairies are.
They core of Magearna is supposed to be the actual Pokemon while the "body" is just a catalyst for it. So if they took the soul of a Fairy and put it in another body that could be why too. And since it's body is difference that changes the moves at it could've known had it stayed the same Pokemon. But the component the chimerical soul thing makes sense too. Unless you meant what I meant
