its good for emulation if you dont care and just want to complete the games but if you care about the story and the progression then play the original cartridges
also about the speed if you arent an autist that cant sit still for more than 10 seconds then you have nothing to worry about

If you worried about hacking, i',m not talking about cheat code, i just mean use the space bar to speed up the gameplay to find pokemon you want and level up quickly.

Best games on the 3DS if you want a natural pokemon trainer experience without shitty plot and characters to get in your way.
But I still to this day don't know why they're 50 bucks. That's more than what they were upon release AND you don't get a lugia/ho-oh figure and pokewalker.
