Because furfags love the vulpix line, especially alolan variant. Furfags also have a lot of disposable income for whatever the reason. Pokemon knows this and panders to them for cash. Furies don't want to fug bugs.

They aren't. It's successful because it's a regional form of a Gen 1 Pokemon and Lillie's starter in the anime, making it extremely iconic. If it was successful because people wanted to fuck it, we'd also see a lot of Tsareena and Salazzle plushes, instead there are none.

Those are true. So is the furry argument. It doesn't just have to be one or the other. If there are no Tsareena or Salazzle plushes, then they can't buy them to begin with to secure their successes.

OP asked why a Ribombee plush doesn't exist to begin with. Vulpix was made to be an icon, it was successful because of its popularity and so more were made. It might have sold a bit more because furfags also bought it, but that doesn't really matter. Ribombee is just a random cute Pokemon, there's no need for it to have a plush. Furries have nothing to do with why Ribombee has no plushies. Necrozma has a plush because it's also an iconic Pokemon, not because of furries.

That's just an assumption you made and I have no reason to believe it's true.
The thing all popular plushes have in common is that they are either popular and iconic mons, really well made plushes, or both of these things. Mimikyu doesn't sell well because of furries.

Ribombee isn't that popular; Bug-types in general aren't that popular for marketing.

Alolan Vulpix has the legacy of being a Pokemon that has been around for over 2 decades, on top of it being white and in the anime. White Vulpix are cute.
