Raticate was my first lv 100 pokemon
it was named jack and it had Hyper Fang/Dig/Blizzard and thunderbolt. I loved it so much

Ice Beam against memedragons and stupid plants. the rest is unimportant.

same here, my lil bro traded me one in platinum cause I loved it's design in red. Looking at it now, not much to look at stat wise, but in game, it was a loyal guardian that defended and fought for my trainer as if she was the hive queen. Still have it in another gen 4 cart, it's level 91 now, I think, and it beat the battle tower tycoon twice in a row(80 battles, I think?)

I sololocke'd yellow with pikachu a few years ago.
Giovanni's gym was a bit nerve wracking, but 6 double teams ended up doing the job
