Lillies second outfit meaning was just changed to show her determination to save her mother. If you dont like ot i can understand but at least appreciate the animes take instead of dismissing it because they ignored the games plot.
Calling Lillie dead weight but not mentioning mallow is a crime. Lillies episodes might be formulaic but she has a purpose. Mallow is dull and uninteresting. The best thing we get out of her is fanservice.
How can you say we didn't get development for Lillie when she is the only one of them that started at point A and moved to point B. Everyone is static we got to know a bit of their past but it didn't add anything to their characters.
