>>34911277Basically, yes. Two Pokemon breeding of two different languages improves your chance of hatching a shiny, and that stacks with the Shiny Charm.
Normally, you have a 1 in 4096 chance of finding a shiny, but the charm adds +2 to those odds, giving you 3 in 4096, or about 1 in 1365. When breeding two Pokemon of two different languages (the Masuda Method), your chances improve to 6 in 4096 (about 1 in 682), and with the charm, that makes it 8 in 4096 (1 in 512). Basically, take a Pokemon you want and breed it with either a foreign one of the same mon, or breed with a foreign Ditto.
Now, if you're like me and want to actually use it for fighting, breed exactly the Pokemon you want first. In other words, make sure it has the right ability, egg moves and nature. Once you get a female Pokemon with all those above, put it in to breed with the foreign Ditto (female Pokemon have a higher chance of passing their ability down when breeding). You can also use Everstone to preserve the parent's nature, and the Destiny Knot to preserve IVs (if it has any). It's a lot tougher when the gender odds of the Pokemon aren't in your favor to begin with, like with all the starters, Eevee, Combee, and Salandit, but it's doable.
