Her role in SM is a villainous one, not just somewhat antagonistic as in USUM. She had screws loose before being affected by jellyfish and treated her kids terribly. Some of it still translated into USUM even while giving her the dindu treatment, showing how shitty the writing is.
But yeah nope sorry, she was a villain in SM, one with a sympathetic backstory like many other villains. She became "just an antagonist" so people can jerk to her without feeling guilty.
