>>34924195Ok so my maths is a bit rusty, but using the probabilities given on bulbapedia for crits and rock blast's chance to hit, there's either a 28.5625% chance of rock blast being better than stone age by beating it in damage:
((1/5)*(9/10))+((4/5)*(7/8)*(9/10)*(1/6))+((4/5)*(1/8)*(9/10)*(1/6)*(1/24)) = (9/10)((1/5)+(4/5)(1/6)(((7/8))+((1/8)*(1/24)))) = 0.285625
Or a 0.00945% chance:
((1/5)*((9/10)^3)*((4/5)^2)*(7/8)*((1/6)^2)*(1/24)) = 0.0000945
Someone more confident could say for sure but I think it's safe to say stone edge is more reliable than rock blast.
