XY was good, I did like the horde encounters and Fairy-typing plus Mega-Evolution made the game fresh. And this may seem like an unpopular opinion, but I feel like XY's new Pokemon were pretty fucking solid compared to other generations. Plus it was the first 3D Pokemon game, so that swayed me over.
I feel like Kalos was a pretty solid region. Not too big, or crouded.
Some people have a problem with the desert area, I didn't.
I loved ORAS more than RSE.
I'm never into battling, so the lack of the inclusion of the Battle Frontier didn't bother me. I'm more into the collecting aspect of Pokemon.
And ORAS blessed us with the DexNav.
Seeing the Pokemon in the overworld and tiptoe-ing towards them was fun as fuck, along with achieving Platinum Crowns in each area gave me a sense of exploration I didn't have while playing RSE.
I loved Soaring.
I loved the personality in the characters, from May's expressions, to the simplest thing like crouching down to talk to a child.
It was charming as fuck.
I never finished Sun (dropped it)
