i thought for the longest time it should've been ice/ghost, especially since gen 1 lacked ghosts
same for marowak being ground/ghost (the alola form kinda helped with this) and ninetails being fire/ghost

They're a lot looser with Ghost-type at least as of Gen 7. Decidueye, Alolan Marowak, Sensu Oricorio, and Lunala aren't dead things. If they came out today, I could see Kantonian Marowak, Kantonian Ninetales, and Yveltal being Ghost-type.
