Some pokemon aren't based entirely off of one thing but rather a bundle of ideas or concepts and some are completely original and just happen to resemble something. But people will always try to make connections and it leads to shit like this. 500 fucking guesses as to what hitmonlee might be, but none that are conclusive or can even be considered high possibilities since they're all just random guesses based off a single aspect of the pokemon.
