I didn't even think about that. I was trying to think of an ability, like when it hits 0 HP it hasn't really fainted and has a hidden HP bar that's maybe 25% of its full health left to attack with? or when it faints it revives to half health or something.

I love how raggedy and toothy opossum look. They're hissing, trash eating goblins, and if an opposum pokemon is made it better not pull a lanturn and cutesy up the real creature to an unrecognizable degree.

maybe it could be like slaking's ability except it makes the enemy's attacks not work because they think it's dead? so it's like immunity on it's missing turn. it could be really weak to compensate for it.

I grew up in an area where opossums weren’t uncommon, and more than the playing dead thing, we knew them as incredibly maternal creatures who could make you really sick if they bit you. Because of that, I always thought it’d be a Poison Type.
