>>34958232Yeah, pretty much what this guy said. Early on, I remembered how Japan wasn't really fond of Incineroar (I believe there was something about his inspiration elsewhere). One with least fan art in Pixiv too (not sure how much that's still used). That might've changed.
I make one post alluding to that and suddenly, I'm blasted with "OH BUT HE'S POPULAR NOW", presenting me with recent polls. Well, of course he'd be, given he's already had some attention in the movie and now in this episode, clearly showing him more animated than ever before. Decidueye and Primarina's actual first appearances were in this forsaken episode. That's it. Primarina might've gotten even more popular if it were presented in a neat fashion (it still sorta did, liked to see the hair thing, probably might have a little bit more of attention after that), but of course both had to be smashed by Incineroar to reinforce just how strong he is. I feel like this is all just a ploy though and to make Incineroar the villain again just how he was in the movie against Charizard, except with Torracat.
