Three versions has been confirmed.

First version focuses on single battle. A classic pokemon experience with new mega and zmove.

Second version focuses on double battles and will use new tag team mechanic. All wild and trainer battles will mostly be double/multi battles.

Third version will add triple and rotation battles. This will act as the ultimate edition.
