What if Mega Stones were more like "signature items" (Light Ball, Thick Club, Lucky Punch etc) that gave other benefits to their specific species when held besides just allowing Mega Evolution? Busted? Yes. Fun? Maybe. Here are some examples:
>Venusaurite now also restores Venusaur's health by 1/16 at the end of the turn
>Audinite now also makes Audino immune to status conditions
>Absolite now also increases Absol's critical hit ratio one stage
>Garchompite now also increases the power of Garchomp's STAB moves by 1.1
>Houndoominite now allows Houndoom to restore HP by 1/4 of the damage dealt when attacking the opponent
Just an idea I had. Got any others?
