How's /vp/ feel about Cheren? He's one of the few characters who had a tangible character arc that was pretty down to earth and made him easy to sympathize with.
I also really love how they used his behavior to justify his position as Gym Leader in B2W2, it's such a tidy way of wrapping up his arc.
Also his team is really nice, why doesn't he come up in Rival threads?
