hopefully be wrong, but i don't believe we'll suddenly be getting the "3rd version content" as DLC from now on. Nothing stops them from releasing "enhanced versions" on the Switch.
I mean, Pokémon isn't the only franchise to release stuff like "GOTY Extended edition", "Ultimate Definitive Trainer's choice", "Super Ultra Arcade version", and so on.
