Why does Gen 7 feel so.. dull? Is it the same for younger anons or am I just getting old?

my main gripe with it is the region feels so small and somehowe empty at the same time

New Pokemon are hard to find and most of them aren't very interesting. Story is disgustingly linear with obnoxious cutscenes.

Been with the games since Red/Blue and I like the new ones. They're refreshing. The cutscenes get a bit annoying, but that's about my only problem.

I gave up on Gen 6's Y. Drampa is adorable, however. Not going to pick up a game to keep him.

Sun and Moon are my favorite games story wise and i generally like its although it emotionally crippled me

Gen 5 is the only game i can compare story wise since its the only one i find better or as good

Platinum is my favorite gameplay wise but i also enjoy that i dont need hm's and the region is color full and nice in Alola

so in conclusion: I like the original Lillie and Sun and Moon fuck all the others
