Sorry to anoy you with my autism but what if weather moves were usable outside of battle and it caused different encounters and other things? Also gameplay mechanic idea thread? Pic unrelated

I think this would be alright as a mechanic.
The game could have dynamic weather for every route, and different catch rates depending on that weather, and then as you get Pokemon to learn the weather moves you could control it to the weather you wanted.

Yeah ! And you could start trainer battles with the weather you want and effect berry growth with it. But I think if u made it a thing where it removes blockades out of your way it would taint it.

Yeah, not a fan of the moveslot loss required to progress, would basically just be HMs. affecting encounter tables and the weather going into battle is all good in my books though.

What if they brought back following pokemon but it was optional so you could keep them out or in their balls. And make them more interactive like reacting to wild pokemon in the grass or just innately know how to use hms they can learn?
