What is your favorite way to play through Kanto? Your options are:
>Red/Blue
>Yellow
>FireRed/LeafGreen

GSC/HGSS don't count.

Red and Blue, although I haven't played them in a while. It is a good start to the series even with all of its glitches.
I barely played Yellow and I hate FRLG.

FRLG are underappreciated gems. Excellent music, clean spritework, and possibly the smoothest gameplay experience in the series overall thanks to the VS Seeker and its map design.

The glitcos are a draw for me, they're like post game, something fun to experiment with after being done with the main game. I play a few updated red versions, always disappointed when their updates include fixing missingno or glitch city or whatever else.

FR/LG is my favorite Pokemon game, so that, but I don't mind playing OG Red/Blue. Had a lot of fun playing it during the Virtual Console release, really took me back to a simpler time, and for casual purposes, the issues with Gen 1 aren't exactly a big deal.

They both serve their purposes, the only bad one is Yellow.

No. I do, however, want a sequel, with new protagonists. It should be sett around the same time as USUM.

It should be set right after SM so Lillie can be a recurring character
Anyway, I really do want everything you listed to happen and then some. And make Sabrina beautiful again.

It would be thematically appropriate but more than that I want to be there so new regions can stop wishing they were Kanto and its inhabitants that they were Japanese.

I love Crystal but Kanto in the GSC remakes just sucks. Kanto is such a plain and dull region they should renew it a lot, much more flavour. And complement it with newer Generations, Kanto needs to be pandered.

FireRed/LeafGreen, no contest. It's got smoother gameplay than the original, more content and overall looks better. Also gen 1 doesn't need another remake, if people want to experience Kanto again just go play those games.
