Was watching this vid on Gligar and Gliscor and randomly through it I realized how I actually like Gligar's design way more than Gliscor's

Any Pokemon you wish didn't evolve because you like there pre-evo way more?

I feel you.

The original intention was for Ampharos to be a dragon type, but they decided against it because you could get it so early in the game. Makes sense why it strays so much from the sheep theme and into "cutesy Goodra dragon" territory, which is kind of a shitty way of going about it.

Gligar have a much more detailed claws, feet and wings. Gligar wings are part of its body. Gliscors wings are a Batman like cape.

aipom was way cuter, ambipom is just fucked

If Dewott looked less like Oshawott, I might’ve preferred it over the evolution. But alas, it retains the worst design aspect of Oshawott, the stupid clown-shaped nose. Its still pretty cool though
