If the countdown will be for gen 8, how come the japanese twitter isnt doing the same thing? or anything for that matter?

Im a 2018fag and want to believe but this is worrisome

Pokemon Day is a completely separate day for them so I can see why there's no coexisting countdown. They're also having exclusive new movie info, so maybe that's it?

Pokemon Black and White were revealed in April and released in September. That's only five months. SM didn't get anything besides titles until May and released in November. That's six months.

Pokemon Switch could be announced as late as E3, get a pre-release season as big as BW and SM and come out in November/December.
